A Holiday Post (Part One): Shelter Project

真的是太久沒有寫BLOG了。我發現能不斷寫的秘訣，就是你有意寫BLOG的時候就要快點寫，不然像現在這樣等了很久才寫那興趣就會失去，然後就根根本只會讓BLOG生草啦。

好了，終於放假了。是換一個新的階段的時候了。

我發覺放假的好處，一個階段一個階段，每個階段給自己一個時間停歇。

所以第一個PROJECT根本是在燒錢的。不過燒錢活動即將結束，這樣下去也不是辦法。雖然我們什麼都沒有，就是×嗶×多。LOL。（這是最近我們燒錢之前的口頭禪）

第一個PROJECT的流程

一個SEM總共有三個PROJECT，第一個PROJECT是兩人一組，所以我和上天眷顧的小孩在紛紛擾擾的選秀下終於成為了一組。剛開始的時候真的完全沒有概念（XC本身至少是這樣），然後GOOGLE很多都還是沒有概念。再然然後每次GOOGLE紫寧都找到好多照片但我都是一兩張覺得有點壓力（必經人家也是堂堂正正的BEST DESIGNER）。

SO以最後這個半圓體的IDEA也是從紫寧腦裡蹦出來的。

好吧。我很坦白，這次的PROJECT我好像寫名字罷了。真的。*認真臉

And after one/two week, we almost finalize our shelter.

We are requested to do a model for our shelter. This's our first model, and the last model. Lol. Everyone is changing theirs and we still stick to the same one. How uneasy we were.

This's the second form of the shelter, it can alter the position of the leaf. 

And we think that we need to add something in our shelter. The semi-sphere is too bored and doesnt bring any surprise. So i suggested to turn it into a sphere. (the second form of our shelter) Hoping that the completely sphere thing can make our shelter more delightful (as the theme of shelter project is Delightful). Plus, the whole shelter can turn into a ball and...become a ball then you ma play it as a toy. LOL.

Okay. And in the 3rd week, we finalized our shelter. (no more changes)

Then we started to order Aluminium rode and buy things to build the shelter. 

Hard work is done by 大力lin.

We're doing shelter orbit.

(previously we suggested to have 3 orbits, but Cyfu thinks that one should be enuf. uh. one should be enuf. and no more wheels in the end of each leaf. so the leaves cannot rotate automatically in the wind. this should be our killer point!!! *scream)

I don't know the exact spelling of this hardware, i pronounced it as shaker. LOL. This's the thing which replaced our wheel. 

This thing rocks. You can cut a aluminium rode with ease!

And then we done in 1 1/2 days. LOL.

The cost of the structure is RM86 (for aluminium rode), and shaker 4rm each (four shakers), 4 screw+nut=80cents.

The next week we got our umbrella fabric from Penang. 

You hardly can find umbrella fabric in Skudai.

Drafting the quantity needed for each leaf. 

And then we will install eyelets.

How to make eyelet? Let's go, step by step.

1. First, make a cross on the fabric. (marking)

2. Cut the cross

Ne ne ne~

Put eyelet.

and the another part of the eyelet.

Fold again so you can hammer it easier. 

Ham ham hammer!

Tala! Done!

Btw, you need to cut it with plier before everything. LOL. Normally people cut four times, but Lin says, 7-8 times. Hmm. just follow. And guess what, we have 170eyelets for this shelter!!!

Na! 

Yuan yuan without foundation. We tied it with rope. 

The second day, we moved it to the seaside. We woke up 6am and started to dig in one metre deep. (while everyone still sleeping. LOL) 

Uh? I thought you gonna dig in one metre deep?

Tsk. We wish we could but we got the rocks. ==

So we changed it into another form. (the best thing of our shelter is, it is transformable!）
